Safety first
Broken down on the A52?
The A52 links Derby and Nottingham as Brian Clough Way, crossing the M1 at junction 25, then runs around the south of Nottingham past the QMC and Clifton Bridge before heading east to Bingham and Grantham.
Much of the A52 between Derby and Nottingham is fast dual carriageway with no hard shoulder. If you lose power, try to coast to a lay-by, slip road or verge. Get everyone out on the side away from traffic and behind the barrier if there is one. If you're stuck in a live lane, call 999 first, then us.
